Li Chunxi, director of the Fanchang District Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, said that in recent years, Maojiashan Mine has set the goal of creating a national green mine, hired experts to prepare a plan, invested more than 58 million yuan, built in accordance with the benchmark, and successfully created a municipal green mine. When it accepted the provincial green mine acceptance in June this year, it received a good score of 926 in the third-party evaluation, and is currently preparing to participate in the evaluation of the "national level".

“Maojiashan Mine obtained a mining license in December 2012. The mining area covers an area of 586.95 mu and is designed as an open-pit mine. It mines siliceous rocks for bricks and tiles, with an annual production scale of 2.6 million tons. ”Sun Fengxian, an expert in water conservancy and environmental protection in Anhui Province who is responsible for the preparation of the green mine construction plan for Maojiashan Mine, said that up to now, the mine has completed the detailed geological report, mineral resource development and utilization plan, geological environment protection and comprehensive management plan, land reclamation plan, open-pit mining project safety pre-evaluation, open-pit mining project preliminary design and other special results, and passed the expert review and approval or filing according to the requirements of the competent department.
Sun Fengxian introduced that the mine uses dust collection and environmental protection drilling rigs, and mines in steps from top to bottom, blasting medium and deep holes, and shoveling by excavators. Among them, the mining process of automobile transportation currently has two working surfaces of +39 meters and +27 meters, and the working surface is flat and free of debris. At the same time, the rock drilling operation uses a rock drilling and dust collection integrated drilling rig, and sprays water to reduce dust after blasting. All the carriages for transporting mineral products are sealed and cleaned by the intelligent washing platform before leaving the mine. The one-car-one-license system is implemented. Overloading and spilling are strictly prohibited, and special personnel are arranged to clean up road debris. In addition, the mine is equipped with dust prevention facilities, the mine area has complete intercepting ditches and sedimentation tanks, and the living area is paved with sewage pipes. Domestic sewage is treated and discharged in compliance with standards, and the noise in the mine area meets standards.
Not only that, Maojiashan Mine has also established emergency response measures for sudden environmental incidents, installed real-time noise and dust monitoring equipment, monitored relevant data in a timely manner, and regularly monitored the mine slopes.
Dedicated to governance and protection of cultivated land
“Mining and governance are important components of green mine construction, and we have never relaxed for a moment. "Zhu Tao said that the mine strictly followed the requirements of the plan and implemented the mining and governance project, completing rock cleaning, slope cutting, slope backfilling and back pressure, platform and pit bottom leveling and covering, slope repair, setting drainage ditches, soil spraying, tree planting and grass seed sowing, monitoring and warning, etc. in a timely manner, completing the governance project area of 40.52 acres. At the same time, the mine governance fund and land reclamation deposit were fully paid in strict accordance with regulations, with a total deposit of 10.7151 million yuan.
Walking through the mining area, the reporter saw that the green belts on both sides of the road were neatly planted with lush green plants, the flower beds were full of flowers, and the more than 10-meter-long cultural wall stood in front of the office building in a north-south direction, dynamically updating the results of green mine construction in the form of pictures and texts. “This piece of land was abandoned when it was requisitioned. Sun Fengxian said that the overall ecological function of the region has been protected and restored after the Maojiashan mining governance and reclamation of the final mining slope, waste rock comprehensive utilization site, mine roads, abandoned land, etc., which has played a protective role in animals and plants. The ecological function restoration effect is good, and the sustainable use of land has been achieved according to local conditions.
Harmony between the enterprise and the local area, and joy for employees

Li Minghua, secretary of the Party General Branch of Panchong Village, Digang Town, said that in recent years, Maojiashan Mine has actively provided employment opportunities and transportation services for surrounding villagers. At present, 62 villagers are employed in different positions in the mine, and more than 40 transport vehicles have been included in the unified management and deployment of the mine transportation team, with an annual per capita income of more than 60,000 yuan. At the same time, the mine invested 500,000 yuan to build roads, and distributed 2,000 yuan of condolence money to each local poor household every Spring Festival.
