Recently, the Wuhu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology issued a public notice, proposing to certify 29 companies including Wuhu Dongguang Dahua Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Fanchang County Daxiang Ceramics Co., Ltd. as Wuhu's green factories in 2025. So far, Wuhu has 121 municipal green factories, 53 provincial green factories, 32 national green factories, 5 green supply chain management companies, and 2 green parks.
Dajiang Information reporters sorted out the list and learned that the green factories in Wuhu to be certified this time include 29 companies in nearly 20 industries, including automobile manufacturing, automobile parts and accessories manufacturing, urban rail transit equipment manufacturing, rubber and plastic products industry, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology that the recognition of green factories comprehensively evaluates enterprises from six aspects, including infrastructure, management system, energy and resource input, products, environmental emissions, and performance. The "Wuhu Green Factory Recognition Management Measures" clearly stated that Wuhu City will create a municipal green factory brand, build a multi-level green factory system, accelerate the formation of new green development power sources and growth poles, and improve the level of industrial green development. About 20 municipal green factories will be created each year, and the number will strive to reach 100 during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period to build a green manufacturing system with Wuhu characteristics.

According to the measures, Wuhu City will carry out large-class training, small-class tutoring, point-to-point assistance, and one-to-one services for enterprises listed as municipal green factories, guide enterprises to improve their energy management systems, give priority to recommending enterprises to report the provincial energy-saving and environmental protection industry "five hundred" projects, water-saving enterprises, specialized and new enterprises, etc., and help enterprises to prioritize connecting with financial institutions to implement green financial support. At the same time, give full play to the guiding role of Wuhu City's manufacturing city policies and the city's energy-saving special funds, and provide financial support for green transformation projects of green factories.
